The Misadventures of Me

I was having a perfectly normal and uneventful day when it happened. I was walking to school. All happy. Waving to people I recognized. When, I tripped and fell. Tripping wasn't the bad part. It was what I tripped over. I had tripped over some random guy. That's right. I tripped over a person. The stupid guy got up. He was rather handsome and I felt bad for tripping over him. "Sorry 'bout that. I didn't see you." I said nervously. He looked confused. "What? What are you talking about?" I just stood there, gaping at this.. retard. I mean, really? Who doesn't feel a person tripping over them? I just smiled. Then he walked away. My best friend, who I'm surprised hadn't started laughing when I tripped, attempted to walk over to me. I was not smiling. Now I was literally shaking with rage. I ran after the mysterious retard. "HEY YOU!! WAIT UP!!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs and started running. He stopped, turned around and spoke. "Hm?" I skidded to a stop next to him, panting and trying, but utterly failing, to catch my breath. "Hey." That was all I could come up with. He just looked at me, trying to remember who I was. "Um, who are you?" I sighed. "I'm Paige and I just tripped over you." He nodded. "Oh, so that was you." I laughed shakily. "Ahaha yeah.. I didn't see you." He looked confused again. "Are you blind?" My eye twitched. "No. You never introduced yourself. Don't you know its rude to ask for a person's name without giving yours first?" He smiled crookedly. "My name is Boris, but you can call me Blood." I nearly choked trying not to laugh. "Its a family name." I just nodded, still not able to speak, in fear of laughing all my intestines out. Yes, if I opened my mouth I would cause my own death. How sad. "Um, are you OK? You've been quiet ever since I said my name." I tried to speak. "I ,pfft, am, hahaha, sor-" And then I laughed so hard, my intestines didn't fall out, I cried and I fell over laughing and nearly died. During my episode, Blood just stood there, afraid to approach me. Who wouldn't be? After I calmed down, I got up and apologized four-thousand times. He just stood there, it was obvious. I was going to have to pay for therapy for the poor man. I approached him cautiously. And then I realized he had put a cardboard cutout of himself there. That.. IDIOT!! I looked around. He was gone. I started to walk, but then I tripped. Again. I turned around ready to yell, when I looked at nothing. There was nothing there. I swore under my breath. I began to walk again. And I ran into a tree. Who puts a tree right there? And how was I not hurt? I kept tripping, and yet I remained unharmed. "Ms. Paige?" It was Blood. He held out some chocolate. I smiled and thanked him. "Hey, why do you prefer to be called Blood?" I was honestly just curious. Not trying to be mean. He paused. " Because that is my last name. Its better than Boris right? Boris sounds boring, and sounds like it too." I nodded. Blood sounded familiar.. not because its a red liquid that pours out like a waterfall when you cut yourself. As a name. I am stupidly a genius. Its true. I had to ask. I felt awkward. "Uh, Blood. Why does your name sound familiar? And not because its a red liquid that flows through your veins." He laughed briefly. "That would be because my family and I are famous for spilling it. Our real last name is Nighy." I suddenly felt unsafe. It was like he had said, 'Dont worry. I'm an axe murderer, but I'm perfectly safe.' He suddenly fell over, bleeding. A bullethole through his head. I screamed and ran, ran, home. I still haven't left the house. I'm still terrified. I have dreams about him every night. I heard on the news that he'd had a funeral, and that the pretty miss that was with him was missing. I began to cry. I had quite liked this Blood fellow. I cried for at least an hour, before there was a knock on the door. "April Fools!" It was Blood. I slammed the door in his face. "Hey, I just wanted to say hi, God." I locked the door. "You've said it. Now leave, you zombie." In reality, I was glad to see he was alive. But this wasn't reality. This was a dream within the dream. I had tried to wake up multiple times. But, because Blood was here seemed to have triggered something. I had woken up! When I awoke, I saw Blood. "Blood? What're you doing in my house?" He only smiled. And that was what happened.
